It rained this afternoon so we had a one-hour session on a drying track, most riders put full dry laps in by the end. Bayliss, Haga, Kiyonari and Smrz on the front row; Corser, Sykes, Biaggi, Neukirchner on row 2. Great effort from Tom to be the top Suzuki, Smrz also looked dynamite as the track dried.

Crash net reporting Jones regained conciousness after that big smash which is good news, looked horrible.

Excellent showing from Kiyo - really taking advantage of having circuit knowledge here. Haga looked really racy all day, as did Sykes - fending off the world championship works Suzuki trifecta for so long was a great showing. A good pair of races, after that race 1 delay.
I didn't see Jones' crash, but it must've been pretty horrendous-looking. Fingers crossed. |

Race 1 was mega. I'm curious to see how Kiyonari does the remainder of the year. Surly he is riding a wave of confidence now.

Yeah, but he doesn't know the tracks as well?
Bayliss for WC though. |

Kiyo should be very good at Donington but the other tracks will indeed be the test. However he has been getting quicker at "new" tracks as the seasons worn on.
