Does that mean you'll be asleep on the Rescue Unit on Saturday?

I SHOULD be there, but I need a weekend off!
Can't make my mind up whether to do this weekend & give the Gold Cup a miss or have this weekend off and do the HSCC.

No it does not, thats just a nasty rumour we don't sleep on the unit.

I'm actually flagging because I've got to go to work for four hours before going to Oulton.

If you have to miss a meeting Mark, I would miss this meeting and do the Gold Cup. As Ian Lewis said in another thread the Gold Cup meeting will be the best meeting of the year.

I love Legends & Caterhams but just can't get excited about the Gold Cup. I've never really been into Historic Stuff that much, and two days isn't getting my juices flowing!

We had one of the Caterham Graduate B drivers marshalling with us at Snetterton last Friday and he told us all about Anglesey - sounded interesting.
Mudguards are cheap today!!

I think it was close to Skeggie (some similarities after all - could not understand the locals, and they drive like idiots); somewhere near Clermont Ferrand (which we were not allowed to visit, cos it was too hot!)

Yes, I've gathered that the Anglesey meetings were both awesome - Mrs F M was also slightly gutted as well because she enjoys her weekends away to Devil's Island. Oh well, there's always 2004 (perhaps that will be our only venue by then???)

Anyway, I thought that Observeur wasn't contributing any more?????

On my way to my post I encountered a fellow marshal on the way to their post with a selection of different coloured caps and on enquiring why they had so many I was informed that they had not yet decided which colour they were going to wear that day. When I saw them at the end of the day I subsequently learnt that they had been able to match a hat to each mudguard that had landed at their post.
