Helmets
Since this is somewhat of an art forum, i thought i'd throw this in here. I've been experimenting with helmet designs, and i wouldnt be surprised if there were others who did that.
So, i thought of the idea of the A1GP-teams having national helmet designs, and here's what i came up with for the three officially presented nations: UK: http://img21.exs.cx/img21/5139/UKhelmet.png Sub-Saharan Africa: http://img78.exs.cx:81/img78/455/ZAhelmet.png Lebanon: http://img107.exs.cx/img107/4240/69-LBhelmet.png images were too big, edited - pirenzo Last edited by pirenzo; 2 Mar 2005 at 17:07. |

Nice TR
As you can see, my avatar is my current racing helmet, but it was bought second-hand, so it's not my dream personal design. This is... Twas based on the imaginary "Driver Williams" (they couldn't get the copyright for JV ) helmet in the F1WGP2 game for the Nintendo 64, with the Lion Rampant on top. I like the combination of red and yellow, the sweeping curves as opposed to some of the angular designs you see, and the fact that so many Scottish drivers use Saltire designs, which just gets repetitive, so this is a bit more visually striking I feel Last edited by crozier74; 4 Jan 2005 at 16:16. |

Crozier - the design of yours looks like a combination of Karl Wendlinger and Tony Kanaan's 1999 McDonalds Helmet.

Not meaning to hijack your thread or anything, but these are helmets so I thought I'd share some of mine with you. These were done for the Todd Kelly Helmet design comp that HRT ran at the end of last year. The winning design is supposed to be on his helmet for the 2005 championship, but they still haven't announced the winner.
Anyway there are a few so I won't post them all here, just a link instead. http://69.56.135.118/~hrt433/design/...o_tkhelmet.htm |
