New Ford Fiesta
i saw one for the first time this morning, and IMO they look horrible. It seems very similar in size and shape to the new Vauxhall Corsa which I also dislike.
sorry if you like these, but i just dont like most of these new cars they keep rolling out. They just dont make em like they used to, they are all big and heavy and slow. |

I refuse to believe the new Fiesta exists. The adverts ("The new Ford Firsta. Out now") have been out for months, and in that time I've seen precisely ... one. Even that was so long ago I'm starting to think I hallucinated it. Maybe the adverts that say "Get out more" are aimed at the hundreds/thousands of people who, presumably, have bought one and put it in the garage, and forgotten about it...

Could be...
Actually, I'd watch your back if I were you. If they find out you've seen one, they may decide they have to kill you... Last edited by Maisie; 3 Sep 2002 at 14:33. |

Someone in my office has one. They look so similar to the Focus that you've probably not noticed them.

Mini-focus
They still don't exist. I've seen 2 in all the time they've been out. |

S'funny, I saw my first one today.
Coming round the sharp bend at Stowe School on the Dadford Road on the wrong side of the carriageway. Remember I said there was a new set of skid marks there every week? |

Sorry guys - we have all of the wretched things down here! Loads and loads of the things. Mind you, at least we don't have that lunatic the union jack MX5...!
Now if you want a Ford to look out for - how about the RS Focus ? Now *that* is a car that no one is ever likely to see...! |

the only newish Ford I like is the Puma, but the 1.7 engine is not powerfull enough.
I like the Cosworth Puma rally car though with the big wing on the back. I was gutted when they replaced the Escort WRC with the Focus WRC. When the Escort rally car came out it won everything, when the Focus rally car came out it lost everything. |

Good timing this topic, I saw a new Fiesta for the first time this morning. I can't say the look of it appealed to me.
Craig, it could be worse - driving back from Knockhill, I encountered a tartan MX5 which did make me fear for a moment that a certain person had opted for a special Knockhill respray. |

My boss bought a Focus just over 6 months ago. I think at that time the new Fiesta had been on sale for 3 weeks and the dealership he went to said that they'd sold 70 of them in that time. So, have they really all moved down south to give Craig the dubious pleasure of seeing lots of Fiestas or is there some sort of Bermuda Triangle type thing over the North of England that's gobbling up all the little buggers?

Fiesta? Miserable looking thing, just like all the other Eoroboxes. The interior in particular reaches new heights in cruddyness. The people who have bought Fiestas for years will love it, but it's not for me.
