2005 British Rally Championship

According to Autosport.com, both Mark Higgins and Matt Wilson have been confirmed at Eddie Stobart Motorsport for this season, will they have the new style Focus' this year?

What plans do others have? Jonny Milner? David Higgins? Austin McHale? Steve Perez? Will Paul Bird return?

In related news (in that he'll run 2 or so BRC rounds), it seems Derek McGarrity has got his hands on a Skoda Fabia WRC.

Both Mark Higgins and Matt Wilson have signed to the BRC with the Stobart team again.

Johny Milner said at the Autosport show that he has several options at the momment.

I also know that Steve Perez Focus is up for sale, but he might be out in something new (04 spec Focus?).

I also understand that Austin McHale is converting his Focus from Left Hand Drive to Right Hand Drive.

As for David Higgins I am not sure what he is up to but I need read somewhere that he was looking to the National Championship. I would also expect Steve Petch to be out and about again in his Hyundai Accent

It says in today' Motorsport News that David Higgins will not be doing the BRC this year. He is going to do an international championship instead.

Paul Bird is also going to be in a Stobart Focus, and they are sponsering his superbike team. Word is there could be some 03' or even 04' focus'es in the Stobart team.

I saw that. The Stobart team is a very impressive setup, it looks as if they are going to be running 5 cars in total, the three Focus's for Matt Wilson, Mark Higgins and Paul Bird on some rounds, he also going to do the whole of the national championship and 2 Group N Impreza's for Lorna Smith and Barry Clark.
