Points system,could this work and do you like the idea
What do you think of this;
If the front row decided to go to the back of the field and depending on were they finish,they get double the points.Just for the front row,though. |

Sorry but I don't like the idea. I like the NASCAR point system just the way that it is but I wouldn't mind the leader of the most laps to get an extra five points than the ten that they get now.

jslone.....i dont care for that idea either. however, we are in for some changes in the point system in the next several years. Drivers are talking about changes that should be made. Some ideas thrown around:
1. Throw out the bottom 20% of the driver's finshes. 2. Permit "replacement" drivers in up to 6 races for injured drivers. 3. I am sure there will be other options after everything is studied. |
