Here's one for all you nostalgia fans, from today's Motoring News. The BARC and Classic Saloon Car Club have proposed a new series for 80's spec saloon cars. They should be running a handful of races this year before hopefully becoming a full championship in 2002.
The series will be open to any pre-1990 saloon, split into 6 classes based on engine size. The bad news is Evo Sierra Cossies and M3's won't be allowed - they are just too quick |

Is this the series that our own Andrew Guy will be competing in his Pug 406 ? Sounds pretty interesting. Do we know where and when this series will be running ? Will it be part of the CSCCGB historic days alongside the Mallet mobiles ?
