Rachel Richards should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
V.M.R.C - Rnd 2: Winton 29 -30 August

Round 2 of the Victorian Motor Racing Championships will be held this weekend at Winton.

A reported "just under 200 entries", over the ten categories listed below.

BMW E30, Historic Touring, Improved Production, Formula Vee, MG, Porshe 944, Saloon Cars, Sport Sedans, Super TT and Under 2L Sport Sedans, meaning an average of just under 20 cars per field....

Current Forecast Here which will see the green-stuff on the inside & outside of the track even slipperier than a fortnight ago, and if the Saturday prediction holds true, the racetrack might be a bit tricky too

As per usual, private practice on Friday, and the usual friendly faces will be there to greet you on Saturday morning.

I'll be there, maybe even for Friday depending on how the cards fall at work this week

So, who else (apart from the regulars) is planning to be there this weekend, and if you are racing, what class ?

I think there were almost 30 IPRA cars and just over 30 MG's. Should be two cracking fields there!

18 Super TT, 12 Sports Sedans and 11 under 2 litres means a grid of 41!!! Can't wait!!

Tampered Motorsport has the following running in Super TT

24 - Shane Baker - Holden VZ Ute
31 - Ross Wood - Nissan Skyline R31
75 - Hayden Pullen - Holden Commodore VR Auscar

knowing what Ross does for a day job, and how much of that is around Winton, should we be nervous if the Skyline fails with an electrical fault ?????

Clearly Sparkie's earn too much if his race car is an R 31......

He will certainly feel the power difference to that crayfish he drove last VMRC, hey Adam ?

r31? I have and r33 and I assure you there is no money in working at race tracks!

And Ross is sitting 5th in the championship thanks to his drive in the last round, and the other Daewoo is 4th.

Have I been there enough times to be a regular yet?

Either way, I'll be there, and without my usual guardian again

Sounds like a good turnout. If we'd had notice we'd have run something on Tuesday night.
Would love to make it but the show piggy bank is empty and there's no guarantee that Auto Action will run a story so...
There's always Natsoft.
Any news on the weekend please someone send us a release for next Tuesday night.
