3 Hours Of Pre Season Sportscar Racing Radio
Just a heads up for something of interest to all here. Please forgive the plug.
Radio Le Mans’ John Hindhaugh will be hosting an exclusive 3 hour radio show on Globecast Radio to announce the winners of the 2006 Dailysportscar Awards. John will be joined in the studio by Dailysportscar’s Graham Goodwin and the pair will announce a host of awards recognising the ups and downs of a packed sportscar racing season on both sides of the Atlantic. With the start of the 2007 season now in sight it will be a night to look back and to look forwards too. With three sets of awards on offer for the UK, Europe and North America and each section featuring awards for the Driver, Car, Team, Newcomer, Race, Non-Driver, Moment, Surprise, Disappointment and Spirit of the Paddock for 2006 there is a packed programme in store. The presenters will also be joined by a host of sportscar luminaries including Henri Pescarolo, Allan McNish, Rob Dyson, Michael Vergers, Jarek Janis, Tim Mullen, Chris Niarchos, Tom Kimber-Smith and many more. There will be reaction, discussion and even a few hints on developments to come in 2007. The show’s first airing will be on Globecast radio on Sunday 25 February starting at 19:00 GMT and available in the UK on SKY channel 0157 and on the web via www.radiolemans.com, www.0157.0rg or via www.dailysportscar.com The show will be repeated on Globecast throughout the week and will also be available on podcast. The full results of the awards will be posted on www.dailysportscar.com on Sunday evening. |

I assume those present will be wearing 'Black Tie', Graham, in keeping with tradition at the most prestigious awards ceremonies?
Should be a very entertaining show, not to be missed! |

When is it going to be repeated? My only complaint with Globecast 0157 is that they don't put a schedule up on their website.

I'm keeping my eye out for the mp3/podcast file, and will alert people when it's available.
