R&S MKIII C Judd
Does anyone know if Robinson has any plans to run thier R&S MKIIIC Judd in the ALMS in 2003?
I have heard that the modifactions in the front to try and find extra downforce have meant that the ACO may not allow it on grounds of saftey. It was a wonderful looking car and it is a stain on the world of sports car racing if the car is not raced in 2003 after all the modifactions the team did to the car. |

The Robinson car is now outside type homologation I believe, because of those substantial changes. It would have to be crash-tested again. Won't happen.

Well, I guess that would leave the front-end design used by Matthews Racing. It was quite effective during the PLM, combined with the rear wing end-plates, similar to the ones being used by both Audi and Pescarolo/Courage.
Don't be surprised to see more teams using them by Sebring... |
