Depends which club / circuit you belong to!

Generally this happens in January / February when it's pouring down or blowing a gale. And you feel like letting the car burn to keep you warm ............!

The BRSCC SE have provisonally got the 14th Feb 04 at Brands as one of their training days and the BRSCC EA have their's on Feb 8th at Snetterton. I'm sure whichever club you are a member of will notify you, if not here is a good place to find out all you need!

If you are a marshal (or prospective marshal) I'm sure you'd be welcome at ANY training day at a circuit near you! Just contact the relevant club and you should be fine.

Training days funded with support from the Motorsports Training Trust (title may not be exact) and co-ordinated by the MSA will generally be open to all. The MSA have just agreed the (very much reduced) level of funding which can be made available. I guess that organisers will now be re-considering what we can put on and dates will then be published.

The Marshal's club is not in a position to fund general training out of its members' subscriptions and once again the MSA has (in my opinion) failed dismally to provide effective support for marshalling.

The dates of most days will be published on the MSA website, they say. Their search engine is broken and the site navigation is so bizarre that I cannot even guess where the list might be. If anyone has any sucess in finding it, perhaps we could put a copy here.

Regards

Jim

I think I am right in saying Brands is on Feb 14th.

Not 100% though.

Dates for this year are available here, so I imagine that's where they'll be updated to. From the home page, you have to go to "Member Services" and then to "Rally Marshals" - but Training Days for all disciplines are there; and a few that didn't exist.. Rally training on the 00Nov anyone?
