Thanks to the Guys on post 4 and also post 2. Once it started going wrong at Redgate it just kept going wrong. As far as the the 2 trucks go I just want them to name the baby after me

I was down at post 11 (Starkey's) . We had the 2 group B trucks destroy the wall after one of them had a blow out. The drivers were milking the applause from the crowd.

have'nt work that hard for 20 yrs, what a day we started first with qualifying for 'Leg ends' and did not finnish untill the 'Leg ends' final when two had a coming together one rolled and the drivers threw their 'dollies out of the pram' can't see the problem myself hey what a crew on two deserve an award I say , had to deal with :- 'help I think i'm on fire', to bump starting a truck separating two 'mounting' trucks and refereeing a 'hand bags at two paces' scrape., (having said that I hope the driver with the bad back is ok) Great day but soooooo hot
Who said ' what will happen now is one will roll' ???????

Very quiet on Post 1, except for BMW right at the end of the day.
Some really close races.
First time at Trucks and will definitely not be last time.
Read somewhere that redevelopment of Donington for GP was going to start this week and i think the Trucks started it!!!!
Thanks to all on Post for a brilliant day,
A few Blonde moments from ##### (name withheld but we all know who it is?)
Was it HOT or was it just me?

mmmmm just reading the programme on page 11 it states 'no smoking a new ruling for 2008 is much stricter enforcement of the 'no smoke' regulation'.

lol yeah I saw that earlier too!! They weren't very popular in the paddock when they started filling it with black smoke either! I saw a truck heading for the assembly area and he floored it on the way, drowning a family with two kids in buggies in black smoke...they were NOT impressed!

Just a quick thank you from me to all those on Post 39. An entertaining day, replacing the floppies & attempting to move the tyre stack back into position YET again, after the trucks saw it as a giant football.
Just sooooo hot, but the ice cold wet flannel round the back of the neck worked wonders. A definite tip for hot days. (Wet flannel, wrapped round ice block in cold bag, applied to face/neck). Bliss!!!!

An exceedingly hot and long day, but still managed to enjoy it. Thanks to Dale Wells for the thankyou letter received yesterday, an acknowledgement from the organising club is always welcome.

Has anybody else seen this on Motors? Caught it last night and it was appalling! Only watched about 15 mins in the end but the filming could certainly benefit from buying a couple of tripods.....

Agreed.Crowd of 45,000 was claimed but I could not see a single person Guess they were all cramed in the infield 100 yds from the action and out of view of cameras?

I watched the programme tonight. Terrible camera work, they must have had only 4 cameras around Donington. I did spot a few people at Redgate and some on the infield, nowhere near the estimate. Don't do trucks anymore, spent 3 great days at Silverstone instead.

I'm suggesting that their quality cameramen were at Silverstone doing the Classic.. There were tons!

I thought elton boocock was in charge of production for btra filming.
Even tho the quality was poor, there was sound for a change.
