My first though on seeing this was Mallory Park, which of course happens to be in the Midlands.http://www.etracksonline.co.uk/Europ...loryparkc.html
Not the same, but the similarities are striking. |

I think the track would also work really well in the other direction too.
Very nice, as has been said, short and sweet, works a treat! |

I'd say it looks better than Mallory Park. In combination with some challenging elevation changes, this track could be terrific, well, for touring cars that is.

I'm not trying to offend you , but this track , in my opinion , is quite pointless.

It's only 2.5km (1.55-miles), so having just 5 preoper turns and four noticeable bends is fine. If you had many more, it would be painfully tight, like a street circuit.
I'm guessing the front stretch is about 0.6 of a mile, which gives even the low downforce guys at least one good flat-out run per lap. Kivi, before you bad-mouth short road courses, try to catch some race coverage from Lime Rock Park. That track is only 1.53-miles (1.54 with the chicane), but the sportscars put on a great show there. |

Simplicity is sometimes better than a cornerfest, like in this case, IMO.
