Taped races: Who's got what?

I've been going thru the collection again today, indexing and labelling my old race tapes. And I realized that while F1 races are pretty easy to get ahold of if you're willing to beg, very little has been done to trade and preserve Champcar races.

So I wanted to start a thread which will hopefully be updated over the long-term, just so we know who's got which races on tape. Since ESPN owns the old broadcasts, we'll probably never see them again on TV, so maybe we could eventually put together archives on DVD? If we, the hard-core ethanol-huffing turbo addicted fans don't act as stewards of CART history, who will?

P.S. Indy 500 counts, but only before the split, or if won by a CART driver, so both Montoya and Tracy's wins count. Specials _prominently_ featuring CART also count.

Iv'e enjoyed watching the CART guys beat up on the IRL guys in their own cars, but the last true Indy 500 winner was Jacques Villeneuve in 95.

Over here in Australia, we only got the Indy 500 and brief highlights of the CART rounds. Until, of course, we got a round of the CART series ourselves, then we got full coverage of the whole series Unfortunately, I don't have that much early-90's stuff, but here's what I do have;

I wonder if there's a way to purchase videotapes of yesteryear from the broadcaster? A few months ago I emailed ABCSports inquiring, but they never replied. There are a number of races that I'd love to have. Most of them have been listed above!

ABC/ESPN probably stuffed the tapes _way_ in the back of a warehouse somewhere. They have _zero_ interest in promoting Champcars in the future. Though maybe they'll pull out a few for the Michael Andretti bio special.

I forgot to say the reason why I wanted Fontana tape earlier. I wasn't a big fan of Greg Moore, but I always respected him. He was a great driver, & his death had hit me hard. My hobby is building model cars (I've built nearly one-third of the CART field so far). Right now, I'm trying to build my own personal memorial in 1/25th scale. I want it to be of #99 winning @ Fontana.

They are in English and French. When Eurosport wasn't doing it I relied on AB Moteurs. Looks like this year commentary will be in Spanish, which is not good, because they are not awesome...

Ahhh, I've also got the Indy Lights Fontana'99 race! The race where Oriol was crowned Lights champion!

A few years ago I was able to find a Revell model kit of Moore's 1999 car. It was a limited edition, but man is it nice.
