Asa should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Lotus Sport Exige for GT2?

Just learnt that Malaysia's Amprex Motorsport will run a special one-of-a-kind 400 bhp Lotus Sport Exige in the Super GT Series this year.

Any chance of this car making it to FIA GT's GT2, too?

It's good to hear from Amprex again. I wonder if they ever managed to see the underdeveloped Murcié R-GT yet? If the Exige above is allowed in, should this not be in the GT3 class?

Not this particular Exige - its a bit more 'special'!

Try an ex SR2 Opel V6 and Pilbeam underpinnings!

Has Gavan Kershaw's team announced for 2005 yet? Could this be a contender for their new stead?

This one is a one-off build for a Malaysian driver. Only one made, and no plans for more, so I don't think we'll see this in other series.

Opel SR2 V6, Pilbeam chassis mods...and bodywork made at rtn (I suppose they reduced personnel there and are doing one-offs like that waiting for VAG's next "order") Great car, I guess more could be made, but they classify in the same "GTP-light" class as JGTC GT500s to me (even lighter in fact!). There's a bigger Lotus testing out there; many rumors and the M250 concept point towards a nimble V6 small-supercar, with turbo option.
