What corner were you at today at Combe?
If you were at Tower you would have been a bit busy |

Tower was certainly busy if you were a marshall.
Geoff Thorne, I think it was, had a big one into the tyres, two from the Fiat Challenge also had a big crash at the same place. Jonathan Spencer-Jones in the GTs and a MGB both went straight on at Tower into the tyres. Photos should be good, will post some on Wednesday hopefully. |

The one day when it's not cloudy and cold and I don't go to Combe. Bloody typical.
Did you take your Herald? Bob walk away with the race in the GTs? Pantera? TVRs? Can't wait to see the pics! |

Lots of action at Tower..... whilst I was at the Esses!!
Good action all day though, very good racing - and those Dutch / German Alfas were good for half an hour.. Mr Light breezed away from the gaggle of LM3000 - an extra wing now on the front as well.. FFords were good again, however Barnes came back down with a bump.. We has a Radical (the PNC one), off hard - something broke and it went hard left on the straight, big accident. Also, a Rover Tomcat had a huge acccident in the Pagids, looked a bit written off.. |

I don't think the 220 turbo is written off, It was a very big bash though!
The blue Fiesta was taken front and back...OUch........ Gus Singh had trouble in Practise and didn't start, and Richard Broadhead had contact and a spin. Oh, and an oil pipe failure. |

Oh dear. I'll HAVE to be there, I'm afraid.
Why isn't there an icon for drooling? |

We really do need an icon for drooling.
That Pantera looks sooooooooo cool, but it isn't the BRDC one. The one above looks older and the orange/ yellow monster didn't have the wing. Incidentally, did anyone at Combe on the 24th April see the red Pantera in the paddock? In amongst the Janspeed Saloons. I saw that exact same car at Silverstone in about 1993 alongside a lot of Mini Se7ens. Just wondering who owns it. Looks amazing. Anyway, TVRs .... I still don't like the new lights on the Tuscan and Cerbie GT. Ugleee. But then I thought the Speed 12 beast looked ugly to start with and blind worship made me love it after a while Is that a Chimaera or Griffith behind the Cerbera? I can't quite see. Rick, Selling the car? Have we worked out what you're racing next season(?) yet? |

One question.... The picture of the TVR's. What is the light blue car - I thought it was a Chimaera with a body kit on it... Or have I missed something rather major..
I do know that the car (or its identical twin) lives in Winchester as it was right up my butt cruising through town. It was also followed by a rather nice Elise, which all made my MG Midget look rather pathetic!! Also didn't realise that Mr Hanlon has the ouright lap record in the Pagids!!! - going to match it Rick?? You're car looks spot on, are you racing in any other series also?? |

Are you sure it is the outright record that Hanlon holds?? Don't forget that the class A record was beated on Monday!!
You are right also, Rick's car looks the business doesn't it A sure contender for the best looking car in the padock trophy |

I trust you mean the car in the foreground?
That is the new Tuscan Speed Six, a wholly new car inc. chassis. It looks more like a Griffith with different front lights, rather than a Chimaera which is a completely different body style altogether. -------- Chimaera -------- -------- Griffith -------- [This message has been edited by Graham (edited 04 May 2000).] |
