Lotto Grid for Melbourne
Well the heavens have opened up (poor Massa) and they might as well pull names out of a hat.
This is going to be a very interesting grid, and race. |

What do you think the chances are of them scraping Qualifying 1 and the agregate times and having the grid positions based off Qualiying 2 only?
I have my money on this happening. |

No chance, an unusual grid is exactly what everyone (except those lower than they should be) want. |

I am curious to know if any of the top teams (at the back) will choose to change engines with such a small penalty.

Well that wasw interesting indeed.
Fisi has all but guaranteed pole for the race, and its hard to imagine Webber and Trulli bing pushed from the first couple of rows. Got to feel sorry for Massa and the Schumacher brothers, screwed more than anyone. As stated earlier, it will make for an interesting race on Sunday |

I think a mixed up grid good for a race, but this format is a farce.

Now that was pretty funny, but what would be even funnier would be rain tomorrow after Massa, Michael and Ralf go out.

Albers too did a fairly good job... Fisi's wish to win the first race has started with flying colors with a rain of luck... dissapointments for Sato san...my goodness, he can never grow up... first direct confrontation bet. KR and JPM... Bridgetone advantage on wet seems to have vanished... Last edited by 300kph; 5 Mar 2005 at 03:16. |

It was pretty good watching Massa on slicks in the wet, reminded me of Alesi back in the old days. I love seeing F1 cars sideways
The grid is looking fantastic right now - I want Fisi to win and I want to see loads of fast guys coming through the pack which is what we'll have if the grid does not change too much... Kimi faces being 'monstered' too! |
