Track Records:
LMP1 Audi Sport Team Joest Audi R8, Frank Biela - 1:48:029/123.300 mph (2002) LMP2 Rand Racing Lola B2K/40 - 2:01:171 (2004) GT1 Corvette Racing Corvette C5R, Ron Fellows - 1:57:052/113.796 mph (2004) GT2 AJR Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, Timo Bernhard - 2:04:876/106.727 mph (2004) The #4 Vette was DQ'd last year, so the #3 car has the official record. I show a different car for LMP2, couldn't find the speed or driver though. The BAM! Porsche had the unofficial quick time at 2:04:169, but was also DQ'd. Regarding the lmp2 best qualy time, it is very difficult to say, since back in 2003 the b01/60 were lmp675/lmp2's.
So here the best qualies in 2003: - Dyson Lola Ex257 1:49.361 (now P1 car) - Essex Racing Lola B2k/40 2:01.976 (best of today's P2 cars) Just my 2 cents |

I understand the Intersport B05/40 headed Tuesday LMP2 unofficial times and AJR (#23) headed GT2. Are there any comprehensive unofficial timing lists for these classes? I'd be particularly interested to see how TVR, Spyker and Panoz compare to the Porsche's.

I am impressed with the new Lola that is one quick car straight out of the box. Saying that the C6 is pretty quick too.
