Firstly RB, I very much doubt if McNish will ever actually take part in a F1 race. Toyota have other ideas, and history with toyota already shows us that a contract means nothing to them (poor Minardi )

It will be very tough for any Rookie to get in next year. Webber is the only one that looks close, and even that is doubtful. There is already way too much talent spoiling in the test seats for a rookie to sneak in.

That said, a whole lot of $$$$$$$$ changes everything. If a rookie gets in, this will have alot to do with it.

Perhaps Takumo Sato will get a chance at BAR if JV jumps ship.

I don't see Sato getting an F1 drive just yet - he has a habit of wrecking cars rather too readily... Darren Manning would be a better, more experienced choice. But JV won't jump ship. Yet.

A.Yoong will be there, with Minardi.

And also with Toyota will be a new one. A Japanizes driver has got a chance I think; Perhaps Sato. McNish won't drive the Toyota F1 car.

There is also a place next to Jos Verstappen with Arrows and also Prost has got a chair for a good rider with a lot of money!!!

So, I think there will be Four new drivers next season.

What about BAR's other test driver, Anthony Davidson. I saw him win both Formula 3 races at Castla Combe, and he looked impressive.

Assuming he can qualify for a race this season.

I tend to agree with you here. To many younger and more experienced F1 drivers for McNish to live the dream. Possibly a Japanese driver, more likely a name if they are serious.

Possible Rookies

Someone Japanese at Toyota
Alex Yoong
Mark Webber (Minardi?)
Someone with a lot of cash at Arrows
Maybe someone new at Sauber if Heidfeld goes to McLaren
