Team merchandise sucker thread

I'm not usually a sucker for team merchandise but I bought a couple of things at LM this year.
Bought a 908 t-shirt and an ACO t-shirt. Also bought a Lizards hat but lost it at the Porsche Curves!

Really really wanted a Pesca shirt or hat to support the team but all their stuff looked like a giant billboard without and of the subtle beauty of their cars, so I passed

Audi stuff was nice but common. Corvette looked a bit bumble bee!

Couldn't find much from any of the other privateers or constructors. There's lots of support for them; I thought they would have done OK selling merchandise!

Didn't buy anything for myself, and was surprised at the lack of children's wear... Everyone was sold out by Friday!

One of my friends was looking for a backpack from Audi, but no luck.

Other than that, they AM, Audi, Pesca, Peugeot, seemes to have a lot of stuff, but then again, I only took a quick look.

I steer clear of anything that isn't free!
Got a nice Shell black TDi cap though from a rather sweet french girl on the Shell stand.

The plan is , im trying to get her interested (9 weeks old) so when im old and shagged , she will look after me each year and make sure I have somebody to push me around the track !!!

I ran in to an AutoArt scale 1:18 model of the Mazda 787B which won in '91.
It's really such a beautifull highly detailed piece of work! Cost me a 100 euro's,quite a lot of money but still a good 30 or 40 below it's normal price.

As for team merchandise, just at the end of the race when it was quite clear that the Aston was gonna win,I bought myself a very nice " last years collection" Aston Martin Racing rugbysweater for 65. Had a right good laugh when I showed two of my mates, who're avid Chevyfans, what I was wearing underneath my raincoat!

At least the Gt cars last slightly longer- thanks to errant drivers, i think we saw more combined race time from the two GT cars at Le Mans than the F1s have managed all year...

People are now selling those freebie hats on eBay - and idiots are actually buying them! Someone is even trying to flog one of those truly horrible Advan fans.......

The last really good merchandise I bought at Le Mans was an official Silk Cut Jaguar t-shirt in 1986. Sadly it no longer fits me........

Great shame. I quite fancied one of those orange umbrellas.... I'd promised myself a new ACO one this year - as the one I bought in 1993 is now very tired indeed - but by the time I got to the circuit there wasn't an ACO brolly to be had.....
