Anyone one had any recent contact with the organisers? I've sent them a couple of emails in recent weeks but no reply - just wondered if their contact email is still:
spa@roadbook.be Thanks, Gary |

Thanks Mike, got it sorted that way - see you at Spa (presume you're going) if not before!

Anyone know of a decent hotel in Stavelot or Malmedy, I fancy a change from staying in Spa. Thanks

I've stayed a few times in Stavelot at the Hotel La Maison. (Google will find it.) It's in the square, but doesn't have many rooms, and some people book a year ahead. The owner and his wife run it, and food was always very good.....

We always stay at the Beau Site in Trois-ponts very relaxed, good food, and owners very accommodating

If you end up struggling to find somewhere in the area that you want but just don't want to be in Spa town itself try the Silva Hotel Spa-Balmoral which is a couple of miles outside of Spa. I've used it the last couple of years and been very pleased with it. Not near any restaurants etc so need to drive into a town.
Maybe too near to Spa for you but one to bear in mind if needed. |

Cheers Gary. No surprises when 6hr qualifying and race are! See that Masters GD is now first race in Sunday rather than last. That's now Barry race. In theory I could be out of paddock by lunchtime. On second thoughts no chance the way we get packed in......

Actually Iain,he tends to think a very low 3:00 is in order, and I tend to agree. He is a really good attentive driver who does everything exactly as told.Unlike some who already know the efing lot.
Some people just a little behind the times it would seem. |
