Aston Martin. Could have been Red Bull, but the biggest steps go to AM.

RBR gave another master class but it has to be Aston-Martin, who have completely turned it around.
It looked like it was going to be a three way battle between, Ferrari, Mercedes and RBR. It's now a four way battle. |

Hate to be this guy, but red bull. Hard to not be team of the weekend when you've had a weekend like this.
I'd absolutely vote for Aston as team of the winter if that pole pops up lol. |

Aston have really stepped up but RBR gets my vote for TOTR - after DNFs here last year, the team was the class of the field and really didn't put a foot wrong.

I see most have posted AM due to them moving up. And I almost gave it to them (and can understand the argument). But in the end, it's impressive that RBR is able to so easily do a 1-2 finish like this.

It takes something special for me not to vote for the team that dominates the final result. I’m not keen on voting for a team that is less bad than they used to be. But today I vote for Aston Martin because they have made such a tremendous leap forwards and it’s so refreshing to have an interloper getting amongst the Big Three on real pace and not just freak circumstances.

Alpine would be an interesting vote

For me,it had to be Red Bull.Utter dominance in spite of the restrictions imposed on aero testing.Of course that margin may be eroded as the season progresses.

Red Bull
Perez was able to toy tactically with Ferrari.Verstappen was on another planet. The car looks dominant. |

Aston. Astonishing improvement since the end of last season. Red Bull? Unbeatable, but they just did what I expected them to do.

Head says Red Bull heart says Aston Martin. Voted for Red Bull. The gap between them and the rest of the field at the end of the race was ominous. Especially as you'd have to assume they were coasting for most of the race. Aston have done a great job over the winter and hopefully they'll be in the mix for the rest of the season - looks like them, Ferrari and Mercedes are all quite close.

RBR was the best team, because they did everything perfect.
But I vote Aston Martin for their excellent improvement, and a big slap on the back for Williams as well. Much better result from them than I expected! |
