The F1 Positives only thread
I know (myself included) as far as internet forums go ten-tenths is an 'older' crew - which is a great thing considering the amount of knowledge and experience many of us have for the sport.
However there's been more and more negativity recently so for a light-hearted change this is a happy clapper positive only thread. No bad vibes allowed! I'll start: I've really enjoyed Hulk's comeback and how well he is performing despite being F1 adjacent for 3yrs. It's good to see Williams enjoying an upswing in competitiveness and Alex Albon is currently driving the wheels off that thing (no Albert Park pun intended) |

I think Huelkenberg is doing great, which is showing Mag up a bit.
I’m not sure how well Albon is doing. I’m starting to sense a bit of concern that maybe others would be getting more points out of their package. |

Impressed by Hulkenberg and Albon, although dropping the Williams as he did yesterday still leaves questionmarks. We tend to focus on those who are normally at the pointy end but it must be hard to keep working hard to progress in a lower reaches team. Good results are a great incentive.
For me, this season is being kept alive by Alonso. The old guy remains as feisty and competitive as ever and his obvious joy at being back at the sharper end is a pleasure to see. |

A mate of mine, who previously was a truckie for Williams, is now the garage tech at Haas.
Hulk's form is great. I'm sure it's just a coincidence To be fair to Albon, he wasn't the only driver to drop it in that snap oversteer way this weekend. Several of the F2 and F3 drivers did, plus Perez. Albon is definitely getting more out of that car than I expected, and that's a really good thing. Record attendance in Melbourne, too! |

Super happy with the young Piastri so far but was also starting to feel bad for Lando but then Lando had a good race and now I’m happy for both off them

Piastri has done alright, but not great. Norris is still top dog in the team. He had a good race in Australia, although the car was never going to get him any higher up, unless there were a few problems in front of him

also that podium...must be near to 400 podiums between those 3 drivers. that was pretty special.

The podium could have been different. Hardest luck story was Russell, but you can’t deny the top 3 deserved to be up there
