Maybe its time for a Wilson 3peat.

Qualifying will be the most important part here. Avoiding accidents you will need to be on front here to win.

I'm predicting either Wilson, Bourdais or Allmendinger to win.

This fence is confortable...

Did they reconfigure this track from last year so there's not as much drama?

I don't think that's possible, unless it's either a joke that I'm just not getting, or some news I don't know about.

Bourdais will win from pole. I feel it.

Well no actually, I just watched last years race and couldn't be bothered to think.

But maybe he will.

Anyways, the track will hopefully show improvement over last year, that tram line was something else!

Yeah. It was a bit of a shambles. I remember most of the people there were running around like head-less chickens. But are the tram lines here for the race this year?

I know they widened track alot more and taken out many palm trees so they could do this.

Should be a great event this time round as things have been smoothened out.

It's nice not being confident about who the winner will be

That said, SeaBass was #1 Fri&Sat and pretty well controlled the race,so set-up wise they shouldn't have as far to go.

Besides, it's his turn.

For the championship, I think we need Wilson/AJ to win with the other in second place, Tracy in third.

However I think Bourdais will have something to say about that!v

I predict one of those random races where an ill-timed caution brings strategy jumbling and a suprise winner. (Remember last year we were one caution away from a Coyne victory).
Either that or Bourdais.....

San Jose race thread

Tracy has pole position ahead of Bourdais in a close Friday session. The first 13 cars covered by just eight tenths of a second.
So that means Paul is asured a front row slot for race day.

I was surprised by Philippe's pace in the first practice session and Clarke's qualifying effort. CTE are really coming on strong.

Also, it seems everyone is really happy with the changes made to the track. Smoothing of the surface over the trolley tracks and widening of the track at some points.

There's actually no mention anywhere! Not on Champcar, Rocketsports, Crash...anywhere...it's like he's quietly vanished as though he was never here.

Who we talking about again?

Money's run out

Quote:
The absence was expected as Kasemets’ deal with sponsor Flexovit Abrasives was only for a partial season beginning with the Portland race and did not include the San Jose event.
