WTCC (Moscow Raceway) will be supported by the Russian Touring Car Championship and the LADA Granta Cup at the event.

Wow, I gotta catch up with my WTCC. I've only watched Monza, Marrakech, and Slovakia.
Picks for the win? Mine's Tom Coronel and Yvan Muller |

The BMWs should do good on the twisty sections, but I expect the Chevys to stretch their legs on the long straights, again.

In fact there's only one fast straight. And other part of track is just one long borring turn with a tiny bit of elevation change. Expect short base cars to be strong too.

Makes a great blind corner! Though a little overtaking opportunity is lost

The track appears to be too twisty even for 1,6L tourers. Herr Tilke should know that the simpler is the better. There's just no need in 100 turns in 4 km.

AWESOME battle in race 2 which fully compensated Race 1, which wasn't too interesting. I have to say Muller is extremely lucky. He didn't make a lot of proper overtakings, just benefited from the battles behind. But that's why he's a multiple champion though.
Furthermore, some very interesting news: Pepe Oriola switches from Tuenti to RML and he's going to drive in an RML Chevrolet: http://www.mundodeportivo.com/201306...375824970.html |

I thought it looked like a fairly decent circuit and produced a couple of good races, although we could have done without the yellow flag digger-zone in race 1 and the Coronel/Tarquini/Thompson taking each other out in race 2.
There's a good few posts on the Race Truckie blog about the logistics of actually getting to the circuit. |

Coronel blames Tarquini, and asks for a multiple race-ban! Tbh, I thought that he made the move that caused the chaos himself. His statement is at the end of the video. 'd really want to see footage from Tarquini's car.

I'm sure Tom wil say the same when he sees the footage. Thompson was already on the grass and Tarquini didn't move, so if there's somebody to blame its him.

I know i'm a bit late but I was just gutted for Charles Ng and the Engstler boys at the lead up to race 2. To see those guys bust their butts to get Ng's car out of the pits before they closed, run over to the front of the grid with their tools, and then to see Nykaer's car there and be told to go to the back of the grid, real bad break
