First time in a long time that I'm missing most of the road racing season. Hopefully I'll get to the Ulster GP but that's probably the height of it.
TT's always special and this year should be no exception. Looking forward to seeing how Brookes adapts to the Island |

Would never say its the best "racing" in the world
But as a spectacle its right up there I just hope its all done with no casualties, as there have been a few in recent years. Stay safe John. |

Yes, hope there's no casualties.
When you go to the TT all the way from Australia, it's great racing. Josh Brookes should adjust quiet well I think. Good luck Josh. |

I am over here again, but for the full fortnight for the first time ever.
Very sad news last night, not the start that anyone wanted Last year was so good with no fatalities, so I suppose we all knew that managing 2 years was going to be pushing it, but we still hoped. It was a surprise to actually get any practice out at all - was also down at Billown for the Pre-TT Classic and yesterday morning was abandoned due to wind and driving rain. The evening was gorgeous! Have to say that Michael Dunlop was flying down at the South of the island, so we'll see if it carries onto the Mountain course. |

Michael Dunlop three wins from three starts, fantastic. Maybe more to come.
Tim Reeves and Dan Sayle won the Sidecar TT Race 1 after many years of trying, first for Reeves and eighth for Sayle. Jeff |

Michael Dunlop is so on form this year it's unbelievable. Both today's Supersport Race 2 and Monday's Superstock Race were amazing last laps from Michael - the factory team is clearly such a benefit.
The question now is how many more will Michael win? He's racing in both the Lightweights and the Senior on Friday - Hutchy's record stands at 5, so theoretically it could be beaten... |

Congrats to John McGuinness taking out the Senior TT. Hope all are ok after the red flag incident.

I enjoyed the TT this year but as always I'm glad it's over, I'm always contradicted about it, a part of me watches in amazement at the speed, commitment and bravery and another part watches in a cold sweat with fingers crossed. It was quite unnerving watching Michael Dunlop this year, he was on it but he was taking such risks, obviously he was comfortable with that level of risks than many others were. Great to see McGuinness dig deep for the senior race, he must have been pushing it more than he ever had to. Awe-inspiring and terrifying in equal measure - I guess that's the TT.

FWIW, on the east coast of Australia Channel 1 is showing an hour of it at 12.30pm.
It started Monday afternoon here and I believe goes for the week. Stavros was in his element as usual interviewing and generally messing about as he does. Great stuff to watch. |
