I suspect this may prove to be a driver bashing thread of the worst kind and certainly not in the spirit of ten tenths.
But: 2: Eddie Jordan 3: Frank Williams 4: Toyota 5: Imola 2001 6: Montreal 2001 7: Hockenheim 2001 8: Malaysia 2002 9: Nurburgring 2003 10: Magny-Cours 2003 |

well, people who have been around for 2-3 years don't get easily kicked out that's what I think. We've seen average drivers hang around for like ages. And Ralf has definitely had his share of good days.

Ralf is a proven race winner in F1 and he is a very consistent racing driver, brings the car home in the points more often than not. Nuff said.

Ah, political correctness..... yes hes won six...but has he really shown consistancy over an entire season to justify a place in a top team....2003 he won 2 races and bang he went.... this year he's been ok at best...yes hes scored a lot of points but most of them have been lacklustre performances.....i mean the guy is getting trashed by Trulli in qually....how good can he be....

Well, Trulli trashed the soon-to-be 2005 WDC last year in qualifying...
I think Ralf is alright. If he was more consistent he'd be more valuable, though. |

he'll get better as time goes at Toyota . and he's closing on Trulli after the initial big advantage that Trulli got . a few podiums in the first few races .

http://formula1.com/archive/driver/d...05/10/108.html compared to 6 for trulli http://formula1.com/archive/driver/d...05/10/108.html after the first 5 races Trulli had 26 points . and now 43 . Ralf had 14 and now 35 . so in the last 10 races Ralf outscored Trulli ... 21 to 17 |

I don't think so. He has many bad weekends. He can be great sometimes but mediocre right after that. When he's not great he's not very good.

I don't see a problem with Ralf... he's even better than Trulli who always qualifies better than Ralf but also always drops places while Ralf always gain places... Ralf is a fighter.... always gains places no matter what while Trulli with the advantage of a higher grid position loses out in the initial part of the race and finds it hard to regain those places
