Radio Le mans
RLM a total failure. The best radio and not enough servers to handle the requests. It breaks for me every 30 sec.

Same here. Increased demand has really taxed the servers compared to last year where it did seem better. Hopefully later in the night here in the US, more people over in Europe will be going to bed so maybe demand will be lower.

No problems here. Although that might be because im listening to it via Sattelite TV? Hopefully the server problems will be sorted out for our friends in the US soon.

So is the Satellite TV feed of RLM completely clear with no breaks? So its to do with the internet servers then? Sometimes i havent managed two minutes, sometimes 30 mins. IT is rather annoying, had thought broadband would help but i guess its their servers not mine!

Not sure if it's a server bandwidth issue or a wma2 issue (they had Real last year). I get blank sections but no indication of buffering, makes me wonder if the server is serving up "no sound" clips.

OK, not the fault of the streaming guys, just the fact that the amount of RLM listeners is up by 40% compared to last year! We've built a new server, and need to hammer it to see if we still get dropout & buffering problems. Please can you all enter in:" http://213.248.114.91/globecast/globecast.asx " - if this one works ok for the next half hour, I'll swap the main feed to this one, and swap the Autosport feed too. Cheers, a very hot & bothered Ernie

I'm still having buffering issues, but not nearly as bad. I am using dial-up, so that probably doesn't help.

Thank you all very much
I just wanted to say thanks to the people who listed the new server, I'm in Vancouver and chained to speedvision for T.V. coverage. The buffering for the radio feed was killing me. Thanks from me and my Pops

As soon as I can get to the office, I'll swap the link on www.yoursportradio.com also, so it's easier to find rather than all those numbers.

BTW, congrats to you and the whole RLM team. 40% increas is quite strong and Radio Le Mans is getting stronger and stronger each year. just hope that popularity doesen't make RLM's internet stream a pay service in the years to come. That would be very unfortunate.

...agreed, BIG thanks go out to those involved with fixing the "buffering" issues that were hampering the feed for many of us.
Has been great ever since that link was posted. Thanks RLM for the coverage! |
