Bathurst 1000 support classes
So is the rumour true about the Lotus series? Are they gone from the B1000 support races at the mountain? If so who will replace them?

If that's true then probably NO-ONE will replace them.

It would be nice if WPS could bring its ChampCar to the mountain, I mean the engine managed to reappear from Cosworth in time for the Townsville street parade and burnout session last week.... |

I think the GTP race was never going to get the cars that race at the front....racing at dusk in front of 5 people? and banging up the machinery for no good reason? hmmmm sounds like fun.... NOT
As for the B1000 I was told that the Aussie Racing Cars were a good chance to Support as they had a good showing there at Easter? Or is there another catagory in line for this? |

Did they charge as much as they did for the Biante boys?

Sultan, I walked through your paddock late today and it was all but abandoned, though i did chat to Kerry Finn, he was very happy to be sixth fastest.

Invitations went out to Aussie Racing Cars, Utes and two others, I don't believe the Utes will get the numbers due to racing at Indy 2 weeks later, and the Aussie Racers have quite a lot of P platers which are not allowed at the mountain. So who will accept VESA gracious invitation?
