Pocono 500
NASCAR’s Nextel Cup now moves to Pocono Raceway for the Pocono 500. The race will cover 500 miles of the tri-oval speedway in 200 laps. Defending Pocono 500 champion Tony Stewart looms as the early favorite. He’s got a career record of 4 wins, 15 Top 10s and one finish outside the top 16 for the month of June.

although one of my favorite NASCAR tracks and events- it is hard to say who will come out on top.
In a driver poll of the 10 most difficult corners in nascar POCONO's 3 corners were on the list! do to the longest straight in the series is found on pocono and they are all fairly flat and it is a monster long and fast track. should be good- but I side with Hendrick boys. Gordon or johnson heheh heh |

They really need to sort out the officiating of these races.
It's becoming a joke. |

Hendrick Chevys were really strong on this race. It was also great to see PJ Jones on the wheel of #50, is this longer contract or just one-off?

Has PJ got what it takes?
He's never been impressive in NASCAR, IRL or CART. |

I don't know the others, but on CART he really didn't have the best possible car, driving the AAR Eagle Toyota. As younger he was pretty good on IMSA GTP, though.
