Just wondering if anyone knows some good sites where i can get some V8 photos so i can get some in time for adelaide?.

Where did you hear that from? I actually emailed the SAMSB & asked about the photo's that I took. They advised that "no probs, as long as they are not for commercial gain".

If this is true, this sucks & sucks big time. I take photo's for the enjoyment, not to make $$$$ (yet. & if I were to want to make some money, I would ensure that I had gained the correct permission). Next thing, they will ban the use of SLR camera's for the general public. Dont laugh, they already do so in the US (& apparently NASCAR is the worse)

I also noticed that it actually specifies in the Terms for the GP in Melbourne, that the longest lense you can bring in is 300mm....

Oh, by the way, Lowndes fan, do you mind if I post a linky to my piccies in this thread (dont want to hijack it)

Nope, no press pass, had to shoot through the fence at T5, and fraudulently access the pitstand opposite the exit of the pits, (my seat was in D section)

I didn't go to the pits.
