On a good day in a good car Webber could win a race, but Webber is the only man that can beat Webber.

I laughed! It does seem we are comparing Webber to just about everyone else on the grid in a new thread each week!

W v W was bound to come up also!

Well, unless Webber has a twin brother, driving the same car, this whole thread is pointless!

I think you have completely missed the parodic sense of humour in this thread. Sorry.

Can Webber really beat Webber?? Or can he just draw with him at best? And how can you tell which Webber won the draw? Would you say it was one all to Webber?

Now that is the question?

With a good car and a solid but not very fast teammate (Coulthard) Webber could beat himself if it weren't for his bad luck.

I was merely referring to the fact that Red Bull have suspect driveshafts and that can mean only one thing for the Webber's.

But both on fuel corrected and outright pace, Webber to the equal of Webber in today's qualifying session. So it's a bit too close to call still.

I realise that but as Flavio's comments seem to be cropping up in a couple of the other threads I thought it might be fun to make an oblique reference to them here. I guess it was rather childish.

No problem here with oblique references to Flav's comments.

I think its still too early in the season to say. When we get a few rounds into Europe we should have a better idea who's on top.

Seriously though, Peat the thread starter could be on to something; is Webber himself his main opponent? It could be said of Montoya at times, is there something in this about Webber?

Peat could be onto something here... and to start it then turn his back on it... maybe all the other Webber threads should actually be Webber v Webber threads???

Maybe Peat is Webber?

Good work Peat.

For what it's worth, I reckon Webber is a World Champion in waiting and the fastest man ever over one lap whereas Webber is an over-rated Aussie journeyman.

His only hope is that Kovalainen is about to take his place in that respect, is there a record for the most amount of race starts whilst not even covering the distance of the average egg and spoon race?

That's a very balanced view.

It will be interesting to see which one of them turns up for the race.
