Looks like Gil De Ferran will start on pole for his final race of his career.
awesome effort by Gil. qualifying is just about to wind up so I will post the grid ASAP. good battle for the rookie of the year coming up as well between Yasukawa and Wheldon |

 It's so great to see Gil up there... too bad it's for the last time. I hope it's a good race- it usually is though. It's nice to see Sam down in 12th too!

LOL , pity there isnt a kiwi in the japanese GP Armco , you might just have had a shot at the triple crown this weekend

Great effort by Gil, this is just what his championship hopes needed. Sam has even more of an uphill stuggle, starting from 12th...well, it hasnt stopped him beofre
