"ANECCC Winter Rallycross Championship


Due to a lack of entries, Darlington & District Motor Club has cancelled the opening round of the ANECCC Winter Rallycross Championship due to be held at Blyton on Sunday 12th December.

A spokesman for DDMC said ‘ It is unfortunate and we are aware that there are a number of competitors either building new cars or rebuilding their 2004 machinery. We are committed to the Championship and trust that the second round (Croft Circuit – 30th January) will receive sufficient entries to proceed’"

That's a shame Bigted, I guess you won't get a chance to see the only pair of orange overalls that are nearly as big as yours!!!!

Its crazy and I will probably be shot down for this from my fellow members of Darlington but back in 96 I think it was they allowed Rallycars and they could race together and score points but not now.

I would of thought if they wanted entries then they would of let them score points but the way its going I can more rounds being cancelled.

Fair enough ban WRC cars from the series but let Rallycars score points
