Hodge should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Holden

I have recently purchased some holden V8 inlet manifolds. 1 Perkins slide, 2 Vn Group A and 3 standard and am at the moment cutting them down to make the fit under the bonnet of a project car. The questions is do you think it is economically viable to spend over $10,000 dollars on manifolds (Not to mention the money in Hack saw blades) and the cut them up???

Would it not be better to find someone who can make a custom set, or perhaps a "power bulge" or even a scoop in the hood?

Why not design what you want and cost it with a foundry,it may be more cost effective to cast some manifolds that fit, rather than spend endless hours trying to make something fit that wasn't designed for the job.

I can't believe that someone would spend 10 grand on manifolds then cut them up?

Doesn't that defeat the purpose?
