Which racing games do you have?
Also, you can rate'em...
-IndyCar Racing II: Lovely, old, but lovely -NASCAR Racing 2: Not bad, very similar to ICR2 and first with spotter! -CART Precision Racing: Pse.. Presentation's better than the driving -Ford Racing: unimpressive. -Sega Rally 2: Enjoyable, nice cars -NASCAR Racing 3: Good, and with the Busch series too! -NASCAR Racing 4: Great! handling's awesome, crashes are great, a son of GPL! -F1 2002: Nice game, easy to do with -Grand Prix Legends... a legend! |

All for PC - no consoles.
Grand Prix Legends - without question, the greatest racing simulation of them all. GP4 - Only just got it - haven't played it - too busy with GPL. GP3 - OK. The interest tends to wane after a while, even with all the add-ons. SCGT - A great game - now being sold for £1.99 in the UK - sacrilege. Huge amount of add-on stuff available. MGPRS2 - A surprisingly good F1 game. Le Mans 24 Hours (Infogrames) - I only put in down because I've got it. I never play it - it's too awful. Nothing comes even close to GPL. I wonder if anything ever will? |

Well i have loads for PC, but the ones installed currently are,
SCGT: good but too much car movement, and doesnt seem to support FF wheels. F1 2002: Wow, best game ever, plus theres loads of addons. CMR2: must be the best rally game on the PC. GPL:bought it to see what all the fuss was. Dissapointed, F1 2002 has far more car movement than GPL to gauge what the car is doing, when surely in the days of GPL, with treaded tyres the car should move around abit, camera doesnt help. LeMans24h: the only good thing is that you can drive the cars. Rally Championship: those 30 minute stages are awsome, but the crash dynamics are awful. TOCA2: The only touring car game but is showing its age with some dodgy handling. |

PC:
SCGT - great but graphics a little dated and sound could be better. TOCA2 - has the best handling of all my racing games IMO Viper Racing - ok but dated now Nascar 4 - very nice graphics and drives well V-RALLY - ancient and looks it! CMR2 - great rallying and you can drive an Escort instead of an ugly Focus Ford Racing - like something brown and smelly  EA F1 Championship Season 2000 - ok, not that good Le Mans 24hour - a bit arcadey and cars sometimes look like they are floating Network Q Rally Championship - old but wicked, and very fast! also have a few more prehistoric ones too. |

I found Le Mans lost something in the transition from Dreamcast to PS2. Still a good game, mind, just seems to have lost the edge in a Dead or Alive 2 DC/PS2 way.

OK, stop laughing! It is actually loads of fun! It is definitely one of the best ones on PS2, as F12002 is sh!t and WRC is not quite up to par, either (here in the states, we don't have near the selection of racing games as you lucky blokes do...) |

GP 500 - Best bike racing game i've found yet.
Toca 2 - Best Touring Car game yet. Toca Race Driver - So So, best for multi players with my mates. Ford Racing - Pretty ****e really. Colin Mcrae Rally - Lovely. Colin Mcrrae Rally 2 - Even lovelier. Colin Mcrae Rally 3 - Lovliest yet. WRC - Not bad GT1 - The original. GT2 - The best simply as it has the most cars GT3 - looks fantastic but needs more cars. F1 2001 - Not bad for the PSX F1 2001 (EA) - great!!!! the reflections of the scenery in the drivers helmets and a game with a realistic damage engine make this game sexually exciting! Moto GP - absolute ******!! i shall be returning it to the shop tomorrow! |

Oooh we can include kart racers? In that case I have the glorious Mario Kart for the SNES too, plus the GBA version. Then of course there's the marvellously zippy Speed Freaks on PSOne, and then, possibly THE greatest fun racing game ever made... MUPPET RACE MANIA!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO!!! (If you don't believe me, it scored NINE OUT OF TEN in the Official PSOne mag on its release, and believe me, it MORE than deserves it...)
