Would love to vote Mclaren but 12 wins and a season and those RB pit stops…wow!
while it looked easy from the results, having the Mclarens up there must have felt ominous in a way given the record talk, it was a tougher weekend then it looked in the end. RB for me. |

Not sure why Mr Norris got the better strategy option of the undercut...
Mr Piastri should be a podium getter soon enough |

McLaren's resurgence continues, after Silverstone but I think breaking the record for consecutive wins is a superb accomplishment, plus getting both drivers on the podium, it has to be RB.

As Piastri said it was moot anyway because floor damage/tyre wear meant that Piastri didn’t have that pace again and went backwards rather than staying with or challenging Norris. If he had I’m pretty sure the team would have given him the chance of the undercut at the next stop. |

Despite the RBR records, easily McLaren for me. RBR could well win every GP season, the level of Max's dominance is so high.

While I am delighted by the McLaren resurgence (I was never a great fan in their glory days), I have to grudgingly give it to Red Bull. They are still head-and-shoulders above the rest.

Heart says McLaren, Head says RBR - Head wins out. 12 wins, Perez getting his mojo back, being smart enough to sacrifice qual pace to have good race pace - blitzed it really. Apparently the biggest winning margin seen this year so far, really delivered.

I gave it to McLaren.
Records like the Macca one in 1988 and this RBR one while both accomplishments they actually reflect negatively on their on their competition. Both teams excelled in the appropriate era's but when a car has that degree of dominance it isn't a great advertisement for the competition. The Macca era had two great drivers in the one team and they competed with one another which is why the season is highly regarded. But this season has been different with one driver a clear number one and the other a clear number two. Complete dominance |
