Le Mans Tyre Question
I remember reading somewhere recently that a car (and I really can't remember which) went the whole 24 hours without changing tyres. I guess that this used to happen frequently (pre 1939 at least), but does anyone know the last time this happened?
Unfortunately, I don't know the answer, but I would guess sometime in the 1960's. Cheers Mike |

This may have something to do with BFGoodrech's Lola/Mazda entered in the late 80's or early 90's
I maybe wrong, I often am, but I recal much play made at the time about the tyres the car was using, I can't see how a hard driven sports car could make one set last all 24hrs but it may be the case. |
