With Foggy apparently out for the season, who is the likely candidate for the WSBK championship? Will Haga hang on or will Edwards make a late charge? Will a rider like Chili be able to muster a charge?

Slight will make a charge at the championship...and end up second yet again but this time to...um...Haga.

REdneck for the First time Ever I agree with you.
Edwards for the championship. Agreeing with you is scary for both of us |

As a more serious attempt at the question, I would have to agree that it is Edwards' year.

That is scary... chills just ran up my spine!
In 1991 I was leading the Southeastern chapionship until a nasty crash at Rockingham. I still was invited to race at the Grand National Finals at Road Atlanta, and would have raced against Colin for the championship in a couple of classes. A few years before, I did race against another WSB/F1 guy... ever heard of Scott Russell? [This message has been edited by Redneck (edited 07 May 2000).] |

Did you beat Scott?
What has happened to him actually. He seems to have disappeared off the major international scene. |

Hehehe... yes I did!
Scott used to be a decent guy. He seems to have forgot what the fans mean to his success. He is still racing for Harley-Davidson in the AMA Superbike series. He has not been very competitive though. He complains that the bike is under-powered, yet his team mate, Pascal Picotte, managed to finish 2nd at Sears Point last year. Scott has lost all passion for the sport. I could tell some sordid stories about ol' Scott. |

Scott Russell likes the lifestyle of a racer more than the life of racing. He has allowed other things to get in front of his racing and it has showed. Nowhere to be seen is the guy who dominated at Daytona, played mind games with Duhamel there until the Canadian fell off. Damn shame.
