Belgian GP Race Thread
Well that was a mess. As much as I love Spa, I really think that a hairpin at the start is nuts.

Kimi on the hunt. Flav better tell Trulli to let Alonso by or they'll both be lunch for the Finn.

Hope they don't give JPM a penalty for that optimistic move on Trulli.

Brilliant race. Title no 7 for TGF, and a simply stunning drive by Kimi from row 6 to win brilliantly.
Now let the coulthard bashing begin... The guy is too slow. Yeah he may have had a puncture, but he got out of jail with safety cars. You'd have thought that would have been enough but oh, no! First he drives straight into the back of Klien. Thank goodness he didn't damage the Jaguar. But that was all his own fault. He coats the track in carbon fibre and brings out the safetycar again!!! Then 2 laps from the end, Zonta, who'd driven superbly to lie 4th (which would have been his best ever result) is robbed by engine failure probably brought about by running around at slow speeds behind the SC, no doubt raising the engine temp. And yet the square jaw still comes out smelling of roses. McLaren may have taken 5 years to do the decent thing and get shot of him, well now it's Max Mosley's turn. Take his license off him. He's usless. |

DC was very brave to keep racing after scraping the barriers, was rewarded with some points.

Looked to me like Klien moved across the track...
At any rate, he seems to be quick enough to pull off pleanty of moves. |

Kimi and DC were the strongest drivers out there IMO. Not that eveyone else was weak, there was some amzing drives up and down the grid...

Well, my opinon on square Jaw aint gonna change, but changing the subject, was anybody else concerend about the puncture situation today? Squarejaw, Button & Montoya. All Michelins, all right-rears. It needs to be addressed. Or could it be to do with the track surface or kerbs?

Well,my opinion on DAVID COULTHARD (after all that IS his name) is not going to change either......that was a mega gutsy drive from him today.
He was fuelled heavy and would have been in a brilliant postion apart from the puncture. The guy NEVER gives up.......and he most certainly isn't slow. Brilliant race from start to finish Someone has got to investigate why all those punctures occurred before someone gets seriously hurt DC ........useless.....i don't think so Last edited by Fantasy GP610; 29 Aug 2004 at 14:17. |

Good race that. Very good.
I had been looking forward to this one all year and it exceeded expectations. I am very pleased for Kimi indeed. That was an awesome drive. |

well fantasy ,you're entitled to your opinion but you'd be wrong. He is slow. and he is useless. That's what you call a driver that continually gets allways beaten by his teamate year after year after year I wish he would give up,all he's been doing the last few years is irritate people |
