Sywell Classic 2022
Not sure if this right place as it more a Classic car show than race meeting, but with the quality of historic race cars on show and also doing demo runs i though people might be interested.
For those who never heard of it, The Sywell Classic: Piston & Props is a show held every year at the Sywell Airfield in Northamptonshire, UK. It mixes classic road cars, race cars, bikes, drag racing, vintage planes, music and food over 2 days. The main runway is closed and turned into a drag strip and high speed run section were the cars and bikes can be let loose and run up and down. Something that I always try to get to, but continually fail. Shuttleworth Collection does something similar. Certainly looks like a good way to spend a weekend.

Been to Sywell a few times, although not for this. Although thinking about this it was about eight years ago the last time I went.
Oh and Shuttleworth is cool too. Great pictures. |
