DTRC 19th August @ Brands

being a newcomer to the dtc i would just like to say what a race that was . the racing was spot on without to many incidents. i cant wait untill lydden on the 9th september ...the battles on the track were brill i could not stay in my seat

Nice to meet you Rob, although in ubfortunate circumstances!! Three "black-and-orange flags" must be some kind of record!

Also in the MaX5 race, five abreast into Paddock, plus one car overtaking another on the tyre wall side as they both drove through the Paddock gravel, successfully.

cheers rob so it was you who was washing the edge of the track...lol..bringing some more people to watch the dtrc at lydden may even camp out friday night. my workmate races the number 78 golf gti russel bradley so i am always about at the meetings making sure my paintwork is still in tack lol

Lydden will be open from 1.30 pm on the Friday and camping is allowed. The television people might be looking for some cars for their Friday evening live preview.

rod will let russell know will be good for his sponsers if the car gets a little air time .there are a few from team desperados going .is there a desinated spot for camping there? are there showers?

Oh yes the showers do work. Also to remind everyone about the barbecue at the end of the day. You can camp near where the video man parks, or up the hill, see Pauline Santer or Alan Rees when you get there.
