Don't know about 02, but can confirm Elliot and Rose were the starters in the 03 Bathurst. Qualified 37/39. They finished last of the finishers (23rd) at 35 laps down

Name escapes me but I'm pretty sure it was a SA based team that ran 3 AU's. One of which was an ex CAT/Bowe Falcon I think? Another car was sponsored by 3M.

the 02 GW Falcon was owned by Craig Harris and run by his team. It was one of Dick Johnsons original 1999 AU Falcons.
The car that ran at bathurst in 2003 was the ex CAT AU i think it was run by Ralf Rupprecht. |

In the 2002 development series Dale Brede raced DJRAU10 as a 2nd Harris Racing entry.
The 89 Rose / Grant Elliott Bathurst car in 2003 was leased by Robert Tebb’s Sydney Star Motorsport and was PAE2 the 1st Caterpillar AU, being built in WA when Kevin Otway owned the PAE Motorsport team. http://www.thesupercarexperience.com.au/r2003bat.html Ross Halliday ran 2 AUs with 3M sponsorship in the 2002 development series for himself and Greg Crick, PAE2 & DJRAU9. PAE2 was entered at Bathurst for Halliday & Allan Grice. I think Halliday may have missed the qualifying cut so Peter Doulman was drafted in, but was academic as the car was out after a few laps. Crick & Phillip Scifleet drove DJRAU9 at Ipswich and Bathurst. Both were then sold to Rupprecht Motorsport and driven in the 2003 series by Adam Wallis and Peter Gazzard respectively. A 3rd Rupprecht entry also ran in 2003 for Jose Fernandez in BJR02. In 2004 Rose, Halliday & Stephen White drove BJR02, Wallis PAE2 and Scifleet & Crick DJRAU9. |
