The 2006 Le Mans 24 Hours 10/10th get together
So we are only 50 days from this years big race I was wondering if we are having the normal 10/10ths gathering this year. In the normal place at the normal time?
For those that havn't attended before it is in the main square in the village at 12 'o' clock on both Saturday and Sunday lunchtime. PS:- Mods any chance you can make this a sticky? |

Is it really 50 days, it seems much closer than that!
Unfortunately, the suggested time of the meeting will make it impossible for ten-tenths marshal members to be there; even a Poste 0 marshal. And no, I don't have a better suggestion. Have a great time. |

I'll see if I can pop along. 99% certain to be going along this year now, gonna be there from the Wednesday morning onwards all being well!
For anyone who would be there already, would a gentlemanly Friday evening 10/10ths beer be a good idea for anyone who wouldn't be able to do the Sat and/or Sun...? |

I shall be around from Monday onwards. I was in the main village square at 12:00 on race day last year and couldn't find the rest of you. It was rather hot and crowded, though!
As for a Friday meet up and drink, I'll be in the old town for dinner at around 8:00 pm. Does anyone have a good spot for a meet-up? |

I hope to be there this year. Certainly for Saturday. The Tourists may also be in town on Friday night, but I can't be certain about that.

They should hold the race on Friday-Saturday if that is best for you.

I will probably make the effort to be there. Hopefully with green hair again, so I should be easily spotted...

I should be there for Sat and possibly Sun as usual. I'm only arriving on the Friday this year as I am combining it with my main family holiday, but I am bringing another newbie, a French mate which is a bit ironic! (Last year's newbie Hursty is now addicted and coming over again with Craig - I'm slowly spreading the word!)
Be good to see you all again, especially Ayse after missing you last year. |
