Tickets went out last week - PM/email me if you have not got them and you volunteered or you just want to volunteer now. I am struggling to cover flags for the Arena circuit and could do with a few extras.

Nina and I will be there - but in Race mode not Marshal mode...though she is not driving herself.

We are team managers for "The Prize Guys" - team number 40 - a collection of 6 MR2 Mk1's - so shout for us.

We'll be in pit lane or garage 9B for most of the race - come and say hi.

Will be a new experience for us and a chance to see racing from a different angle again.

Tony - the breadth of knowledge and skills of the two of you is ever increasing - next stop clerks? Have fun, but I will be out at a post somewhere so won't be able to visit.

They fail on 2 fronts:

1) They're too young
2) They're too good looking

To be honest, I don't think I'll have any problems getting in the gate. I've been going there 7 seasons and I've only been asked for a ticket once

I'll be there, my last marshalling meeting of the season, looking forward to it, always a highlight at the end of the year!

I also have a couple of teams to cheer on, good luck Team Axis and the Dirty Half Dozen!

Gerry - realistically we know nothing about anything - I thought that was painfully obvious? We just tries our best and all that...and try and have fun....

The Birkett is an interesting one though....I am looking forward to it....

I've managed to negotiate an extra pass out (well, actually arranged a lift for Mrs Woolley so I can meet her where we're going later) so I'll be there as long as I can get in.

Peter, you have a PM.

Previous meetings I've been able to leave my spare at the ticket office before you get to the gate, so I imagine that's possible?

in the email from penny:

Couple bits for the 750 meeting this weekend don’t forget sign on is slightly earlier 7.15 to 8am as the meeting will begin at 8.30am and finish early.
Also 750 MC have advised they will be providing a small pack lunch, this is likely to include a cup a soup so you may wish to bring a flask of hot water.

What a thoroughly enjoyable day, met lots of old friends who I hadn't seen for a while, had the best Observers box on the circuit - Maggotts where you can see the best part of half the circuit. 61 cars + Syd started although with a staller near the front a smash was inevitable I suppose and after the red flag, only 54 + Syd took the restart properly with the other 9 joining from the Pit Lane. Roll on next years.
