Are you a happy camper? I'm bettin' you are...
Winston Cup Series Bud Shootout Winner = Dale Earnhardt Jr. Winston Cup Series Gatorade 125's Race #2 Winner = Dale Earnhardt Jr. Busch Series Koolerz 300 Winner = Dale Earnhardt Jr. Winston Cup Series Daytona 500 Winner = Could it happen? Can one driver sweep speedweeks? Has it ever happened before? If it did I don't remember it. But there's a first time for everything? |

500 miles is a loooooong race and as we all know anything can happen. jr may have the fastest car but there are too many variables. My choice is one of the veterans. I picked Rusty but now that he is at the back it will be tough. Maybe Elliott.

A dark horse here I am going to pick TS to win it.Law of averages says to me that Jr's streak will end at 3.I think Jr will place in the top 10 maybe even the top 5,but he will not win.500 miles is way too long and with the new fuel cells playing a big role unlike the Busch, pit strategy will play big,I might even go for Jeffypoo as well.

Gheesh-- I missed this thread. But ya have to understand- I was doing the Valentines blues. LOL (My fingers are sore!)
Jr was hot. But I fear he made a costly mistake during the first rain delay by leaving his switch on- & killing any chance of winning. He's young- & you can bet that he never makes that mistake again. |
