MSVR - Donington 27/28th April

Timetable here: http://www.msvracing.co.uk/media/183..._issue_one.pdf

Weird days but it just might be fun. Definitely the 'B' series of races compared with the MSVR offerings at Silverstone the same weekend.

(I've always complained that some of the dull processional saloons races we have to endure are just "Track days with timing". Lets hope that the "MSVT Track Day Trophy" proves me wrong, at least about the dullness.)

Sensible times to finish, lots of nice short races, weather forecast at the moment not too bad; what's not to like. Hope it is on the short circuit?

Regards

Jim

I doubt you'll be disappointed in Track Day Trophy, they are usually pretty good entertainment! They've got a full grid and reserves as well I think.

Hi

Sorry, I must have put you in the wrong column, although I thought I had double checked. I will send the correct ones when I get them.

For everyones information, for some reason I did not get the Donington tickets. MSVR have sent some out for me and if anyone does not get them tomorrow, then please let me know and hopefully I will have received some extras and will send them on.

I am short at both Donington and Silverstone, so if anyone finds they are now available then please let me know.

Nearest Hotel to the circuit and next door to a pub that does food

Holiday Inn Express
Hunter Road, Pegasus Business Park,

Or I'll swap it for an LD200 side plate plus cash!

I get very nervous if their not moving in a straight line - the paperwork is horrendous.

Big thanks to all the marshalls out there today, interesting weather for our race (Track day Trophy) added to the excitement in car - probably not that great outside though.

Hopefully better tomorrow for the Team Trophy.

Cheers
Darren

Interesting weather yesterday indeed, well done to everyone. Some fantastic grids and great racing across all sessions. Mr JimW did the grids come up to standard?!

Not only were the grids large to full, but the racing was mostly good with some excellent. What is it that has enabled MSVR to put on a really cracking club race meeting like this while so many others struggle with dire grids and (mostly) second rate racing?

I'm glad I have a couple of other MSVR days on my calendar and this will certainly encourage me to do more in the future.

Regards

Jim

I forgot to say how great it was to see so many pits and startline marshals this weekend, often we are really short handed and it makes an enormous difference to know that pits and startline is taken care of so a big thank you to you guys as well as to the circuit chaps and chappesses.
