What will Micheal be like when he gets back into the car? Will he be re-juvinated, will he be a diferent racer, more cautious, or will it be like nothing ever happend?
I have a feeling that maybe TGF was feeling partly guilty. I do believe that the Senna thing had something to do with it. Was Senna considered a dangerous driver before he died? I know Micheal is considered dangerous by many, maybe he is seeing too many similarities? I said guilty before because he hasn't exactly been the safest driver, and maybe he feels like he contributed to the death of the marshall. Maybe he realizes what can happen if you push to much, realizing that maybe it's not all worth it, the work he has put over five years of his life into may not be worth it. Then again, he only knows what caused the tears. |

I don't think that he would feel gulty about what happened. The crash happened behind him. I think it all was because of the inmense pressure that he had for this race. His championship slipping away, all the press, sponsors, the team, AND THE FANS expecting nothing less than a win. Add to that the death of the marshal and Senna's question.
But...this just goes to show you just how much pressure a driver has to withstand.....and sooner or later they'll let some of that out. I recall last year's monza GP when Mika crashed and he began to cry. I was in complete shock....I mean...This was Mika Hakkinen!! He didn't have any feelings....or at least that's what everyone thought until then. And today with schu....and you could see that Ralf was really concerned about his brother....almost as if he knew that it wasn't just because of the emotion. Too much pressure.... |
