Which would you prefer? It is roumoured that both may get a ride in the Dark Side

Neither as I would think IRL is a huge step down for both of them. Especially McNish.

How did that one get started? I can't see either driver in the IRL. Maybe Rally or Touring car racing if they can't find a way to stay in F1.

McNish wouldn't compete in this roundy-roundy series. Yoong could because of his sponsorship backing.

Yeah I believe McNish will go back to sportcars while yoong could just go home and test for Minardi occasionally , but I would like to see how either or both of them handle the ovals , but surely McNish would be a better option just on driving talent

McNish is meant to be testing for Penske soon isn't he?
Be great to have both in the series, no matter what people say about Yoong it does mean another car in the field. McNish will probably race in the ALMS next year, maybe a dual program? |

Where's McNish from? Perhaps Team St. George might be interested.

Maybe, but Manning seems to be most likely there, maybe 2 cars?

McNish in a jaguar? since when? I doubt he'd take a testing role, he'll more than likely be in sportscars next year, probably with Bentley although he could easily ata full time ALMS seat. I think no chance of him in the IRL either I think its juts because he drove a Toyota and Toyota will power Penske next season, nothing more than that.

I'm not sre if Team St George is emant to be a British team, or specifically an English one, Allan's Scottish. CART would make sense for him, as would sportscars, but I think he's of too high a level to go to IRL, I'm sure hed prefer to go back to sportscars that risk the IRL

No, I doubt Allan would come to Champ cars...my guess is sports car racing of some sort...
Besides, I have a good idea of who'll be Cart's next Scottish star and it is not him. |

Oh come on Jay, who do you think the next Scottish star will be?
I think (no offense to the IRL folks that both Yoong and Allan would like to stay with road courses, therefore CART would make more sense for the time being. |

JR got it.... Ryan's a good consistent racer, bloody quick, keeps it on the track and is quite a friendly guy (ie he would fit in very well with Cart). If he has a good ride next year, he should win the Atlantic Championship or at least come close.

Well McNish is now testing a Toyota for Penske. So maybe it could happen. My guess is that it is a courtesy test, but maybe there is something more.

If Yoong wins a race, not the championship, it will be the biggest slap the IRL will receive ever. Go Alex!
