British GT - Snetterton - 2nd/3rd June
If I may be so bold as to start a thread about this weekend's 2 Hour British GT race at Norfolk's very own Snetterton race circuit.
I've just seen a provisional entry list upon The Daily Sportscar and it does look good. Gunnar Jeanette in a GT3 Mustang, the Team Modena Lambo Gallardo making its debut, the return of the GTC class Toyota Supra. There's several 'TBA' drivers and plenty of cars that are returning from various repairs (the Charlie Church GT3 Ferrari (sans Tim Mullen it seems), the Moore Racing Viper, Dave Dove's GTC Ferrari and the Richmond Racing Ginetta), so if they all work out there's the possibility of 27 entries. |

Sounds pretty good, any chance you could put a copy of the entry list on here?

Good to see Daoudi getting a gig in the Lester 430. I guess he knows Hector from JMB last year in FIA GT3? At any rate, he's a hot hand that consistently misses drives due to no funding, and he's worked very well in the JMB 430 with Ian Khan this year. Maybe lacks Mullen's UK circuit knowledge, but not much of his pace.
Simonsen and Mullen are both busy at a certain track in France, of course. Is that the deal with the TBA lineup in the Modena Gallardo too? I guess Garcia is busy - wonder if their other young driver who can't do Snetterton is at LM as well? |

James, Haven't a clue who was in the Viper but the Jaguar ran for two days without any major issues. All the engine and oil issues hopefully are now all in the past. We ran 2 x 50 minute sessions today with no problems at all other than traffic!! Here's to Monza. Are you coming?

A bit of a race of attrition; only about 14 finishers, but it was good to see the bioethanol DBRS9 of Drayson/Cocker win. I think Barwell have done well to get that car to be competitive and reliable. The Mosler went very well early on and built ip a big lead, and the Lambo looked to have plenty of potential too.
